Great Idea!

I read yesterday in Real Simple a great way to keep the birds from eating your delicious red tomatoes is hang unbreakable red ornaments on the plants - when the bird goes to "eat" the "tomato" it will hurt its beak. Thus when the real tomatoes come out the birds will not eat them.

I thought that was a great tip!

Even the White House has a garden!

I just read that the White House has their own vegetable garden. Check here for the article.
Apparently Michelle Obama wanted to grow one to teach her girls about healthy eating. Now I don't know if the White House has always had their own vegetable and herb gardens, but this is the first time I am hearing about it and think it great!
